When I started out on this journey into the wedding photography world, discovering and studying great photographers all for the sake of great art, I remember viewing the yearly Rangefinder 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography list, thinking the talent of its creatives was incredibly inspiring and always pushing the boundaries of this industry. So cutting the story real short I am honoured to have been named one of the Rangefinder 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography... in the world. It still feels a bit unreal.

One of the things I love about the wedding industry is its close knit community. My journey as a photographer has been surrounded by incredible artists that have inspired my heart, allowed me to journey on great adventures with them and challenged me to move forward as a creative and I wouldn't be in this position if it wasn't for them. Thank you! You know who you are squad!

Thank you to Rangefinder Magazine, the industry leaders, editors and photographers involved in the process and to all the couples that allow me the honour of capturing one of the most important days of their lives whilst trusting my vision and art. The most important thank you goes to my wife Zion as I wouldn't be able to get this far without such an incredible woman. ❤️

This year has been pretty great and I consider myself blessed to have met so many incredible couples and share great memories. Thank you to everyone in these images and more for allowing me to do what I love. 2014 coming at ya.

Lately

Lately things have been a bit out of control, but in some ways I quite like it. It's wedding season galore and blogging has been in the back of my mind but hasn't really been a priority, so after a draught of blog posts a quick update is way overdue. Photographing weddings all over the country has meant travelling a lot this year, and it truly has been a privilege.  From late night BBQ's with clients and their families and friends to sharing playlists and obscure tracks, I really don't take these moments and relationships built for granted. For the moment, I'll just leave a few images that to be honest don't even summarise the events and people involved in them, but hey, they're good momentary glimpses for now.

Back Down South

  So it's been over 8 months since me and Zi got married and I tell you it just gets better and better . Freshly wed we spent a few weeks down south and wondered through the coast of Cornwall and literally fell in love with the place. Fishing villages with silly good food, the slow pace at which people carry their days enjoying the simple things in life and late nights listening to musicians that we probably would never hear again were a few of the great things we enjoyed.

Forgive the amount of frames of Zi but seriously how can you stay away from that lady, she's a dream.
